Little Bits

On my needles again is my Radiance shawl, soft and delicate lace.  I am also dreaming of a bulky cowl and itching to try out my new yarn swift and ball winder, gifts from my wonderful parents, along with adorable project bag my mom made for me, pictured above.

I have been so spoiled!  My wedding rings had been put away since early summer, after I seemed to develop an allergy, perhaps to the nickel alloyed with the gold.  Jesse and I looked at rings last month and he bought me a new set  for Christmas that make me smile every time I look down and see them glittering on my finger.

Still reading a lot of little bits here and there - The Nesting Place and North! Or Be Eaten.  What I really want to be reading is Cold Comfort Farm but I think a book must surely have its feelings hurt if I choose to pick something else up instead of finishing, and so I rarely leave my friends alone on the shelf in favor of something eye-catching and new, so I plug on with my old friends.  I am also listening to Herland on the CraftLit podcast.  What an intriguing story; I am so enjoying it.

My daughters take my breath away, all three of them.

I wish you a very Happy New Year's Eve and many great joys to come.

Joining with Ginny for Yarn Along again this week!
