Life goes and goes. I try slow enough to notice and attend. Sometimes I succeed and sometimes I fail but I’m working on mindful awareness of the gifts of our good God. There are so many.
Lent nears an end and Pascha is just a few days away. The anticipation is growing as we attend the beautiful liturgies and services daily. Jesse took this week off and we scheduled this week off of school so that we could participate as fully as we desired.
I am knitting a little scarf for a wee friend of mine, and reading so many things! I just finished rereading CS Lewis’ Space Trilogy and I’m considering picking up Till We Have Faces to reread next. I also just started enjoying Reclaiming Quiet by Sarah Clarkson. I am wrestling with the negative consequences of social media use for my own self as I listen to The Anxious Generation by Haidt.
