The Green Sweater (and a snippet of Baby's Wardrobe)

The reward of my hard knitting labor - this sweet little sweater for Baby! There were times I was tempted to throw it across the room in frustration, but I don't think I ever got quite there! This pattern is out of Debbie Bliss' Baby Cashmerino (I think the 1st of the series), and I have wanted to make it for a while now, and I finally have a reason!

I especially love the edging along the bottom, it gives it that extra "touch" that is so adorable!
These two goodies are from Grandma Kim (my mom) who is relishing the ability she now has to go crazy buying girl clothes after all these years!
And the following three adorable outfits are from Auntie Jodi (my "adopted" aunt!), who may be enjoying it just as much my mom - haha! Aren't they PRECIOUS!? I seriously cannot pick a favorite of any of the darling little dresses, layettes, or outfits that I have stashed in Baby's closet.

This baby is already ridiculously well dressed. I will seriously need to change clothes multiple times a day just so she gets a chance to wear everything before outgrowing it! Not that I will mind that one bit!
Only 10 more weeks until our Baby's due date! The countdown is definitely on now...

  1. Adorable! I wish I could get better results from my knitting. I am not used to things crafty not turning out to my satisfaction--I guess because I have been doing my other crafty things a lot longer! (like for 27 years!). The sweater will look adorable on her--she is so lucky to have you for her mommy!
