One month...

Adelaide is already changing so fast! However, I wish she would change her sleeping schedule instead of always wanting to be held and bounced until 2 or 3 in the morning! We are playing around with how to help her change her schedule and we have some good nights and some not-so-good.
I fall more in love with her every day and am so glad to be her mommy. I love being at home with her, it is truly a privilege that I don't take for granted. It changes a lot financially for us but it is a decision we made and feel is what the Lord was leading us to, and we know He will always provide for us. I am really glad at the thought of working 1 day each week in a couple months, I think it will be good for me as long as we're living here still. A good friend and I are going to swap daycare and I am going to also do daycare 1-2 other days a week for them, which is a huge answer to prayer for both our families.
Also, cloth diapering is going well so far...I think I got the hang of it... we are still experimenting with different ways to fold the diapers for maximum coverage but I think what we're doing now will be the best...I'm glad we're doing it, it is so nice not to have to buy diapers every week, I feel like the up front investment has been so worth it. I am having to do more laundry, but just 1 regular load every 3 days or so, and I could probably go longer only I don't like the thought of dirty diapers sitting around for longer than that
As exciting as all these things are, we still long for the day we can move to the White Swan area and begin our work there. It has been so long since we have been able to go visit and I miss it. It feels like we are away from home, and I am homesick. Homesick for the land, the people, our teammates. Even though we've never lived there yet, I imagine this is a tiny taste of what it's like to be on furlough from a foreign mission field.
Here's some newer pictures of our darling...
