The other night some of our dearest friends were able to come by for dinner on their way through town. We became friends when we were both pregnant with our first, and I can hardly believe that was about six years ago since both our biggest girls are turning five this year. Six kids in as many years- whew! This is the same sweet friend who is a listening ear to me at any hour of the day, a prayer warrior for our family in times of need. She has let me use her camera for awhile now, she coaches me in mini photography lessons every time we get a chance to spend time together, she has blessed me with adorable pictures of my kids even before I enjoyed taking pictures. She took some maternity shots of me at 9 months with Lyddie, she exchanged child care with me when we both went back to work very part time after our first babies were born. It is a special friendship to me and I really love watching our kids play together. They are all really kind to each other and look out for each other. It was fun to get to have them explore our garden and property together, see them swinging side by side, playing with the roses, telling each other silly jokes and stories. I am so thankful for our friendship and it was such a blessing to spend time with them!
Looks like you guys had a fun visit! I can't get over how much bigger Karis is compared to Lyddie...our little sweetie sure is a wisp of a thing. Oh, and judging by the size of Rosie's legs, she needs to get walking! :) :) Love to you all...

friendships like that are a treasure. My friend who's retirement we celebrated has been in my life for ten years or so, I value her friendship and her funny sense of humor, I get to know more of her each time we are together :) Love the photo of the little ones :)
