The fun begins... Christmas Eve:
My handsome boys:
The goofy boys:
Christmas day came with a bang (and lots of snow!) Here's me and Jesse on Christmas morning - note Jesse's presence. To make a long story very short, he didn't end up working that day, which made me very happy! :-D
My boy Sam:
The silly one, Andrew:
All the kids: Austen, Sam, me, Jesse, and Andrew (in front)
My mom (don't kill me mom!)
Dad opening gifts:
Jesse opening his surprise from me: an IPod Nano!
Enjoying a relaxing day of fun together and playing with our new toys! Sam with their new Guitar Hero World Tour (a fake drumset and mic to go with the Wii they got last year!)
The boys playing new games:
And mom... making food... which we ate constantly through the day. She made a delicious beef tenderloin that had marinated in a mustard horseradish sauce and then is crusted with herbs... it was divine and just melted in the mouth. I made my yearly special, rosemary blue cheese scalloped potatoes, which are one of my favorites. They should be good, anything that calls for 2 cups of half and half and 1 1/2 cups of cheeses is bound to be delicious!
It was a really fun day and I was so thankful to have Jesse with us for the whole time. That was truly a blessing and gift from the Lord and was possibly my favorite part of the day...although opening my KitchenAid comes close!!
Happy Holidays!

You are dead little girl! I really hate the picture of me in the kitchen--yuck!
ReplyDeleteStill, it was a pretty fun day.
