Did you see off in the corner there? Three pictures up? A KitchenAid stand mixer!! Jesse, my dear husband, fulfilled a dream that I have carried in my heart (and I've been pretty vocal about it, I must say) since I had my first kitchen in college, about 5 years ago. I have always wanted a KitchenAid mixer and even registered on our wedding registry for one, but alas, no luck! But now I have one tucked cozily in the corner of my kitchen. I used it for the first time this afternoon to make break. I love this option since I can let it knead the dough for me while I do other things (like the dishes)! I made two loaves of white bread, one with cinnamon layers... they are still rising in the oven and will be yummy and warm for dinner tonight! Mmmm, the simple things!
