Punkins

We had some beautiful weather one weekend in October so we took Lyddie to the pumpkin patch with some dear friends of ours and their daughter, who happens to be Lyddie's best friend. Karis and Lyddie loved the whole experience in spite of the overwhelming crowds and Lyddie giggled, squealed, cruised along the pumpkins, and played with the dirt and leaves on the ground.
These pictures were taken by my friend Melissa, who always takes such beautiful shots. I took a ton of really cute pictures too, but they happen to be uploaded on the other computer, and I had these ones saved on this computer, and rather than waiting and never getting around to posting them, I figured this was the better option.

Now that she's getting older, taking her out to do "kid things" is getting to be so much fun and we need to do more. I can't wait to take her to places like the zoo, the aquarium, look at Christmas lights, etc.

The ooh's and ahh's from the crowd waiting their turn behind us were so hilarious - it's like they had never seen baby girls before. My little mischievous pumpkin looking smug...

  2. she is adorable! I see a lot of you in her. Did I miss a pregnant announcement? It looks like it from the above comment. If so, many congrats to you!

  3. Thanks gals! So far there's not much belly to take a picture of - I feel like I'm growing because I'm in the awkard stage between regular and maternity pants but there's not much to see yet!
Shannon - yep! I'm due at the beginning of May and we're really excited for our new little blessing to join us!
